Celebrate our local Hispanic and Latino communities on September 13 - 14, 2025 at Santa Ana’s very own Fiestas Patrias! Open to all, the free weekend-long festivities include a parade and street fair, live music, carnival rides and more – all commemorating Mexican independence and celebrating the various Latin American communities that reside throughout Orange County.

El Grito de Independencia

On Saturday, September 13, the City of Santa Ana will host the ceremonial El Grito de Independencia beginning at 7 p.m. on the festival's main stage. Mexico's official "El Grito" Ceremony is on September 15 and honors the traditional call to arms on the eve of Mexican Independence Day. It is a synchronized call that dates back to 1810 and celebrates the anniversary of the fight for Mexican Independence.

- General information parade meetings will be offered to the public to learn more on how to participate in this year's parade. Meetings will be held at the Roosevelt-Walker Community Center on the following dates at 6:30 p.m.:
