Join the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park for the 31st annual Boo at the Zoo this weekend and next to enjoy the Trick-or-Treat Trail and other Halloween fun.
Boo at the Zoo is a fundraiser hosted by Friends of the Santa Ana Zoo to help upgrade the primate habitats. The event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 22, Sunday Oct. 23, Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday Oct. 30, 2022 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. each night. General admission is $29.95 for ages 3 and up, and $14.95 for Zoo Members ages 3 and up, while children under the age of 3 can attend for free. Santa Ana residents get a special free night on Friday, Oct. 21, before Boo at the Zoo opens to the general public.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore 10 prize stations on the Trick-or-Treat Trail, enjoy a variety of Halloween-themed games and activities including storytelling, sing-alongs and visits with nocturnal animals. Admissions must be purchased online at www.santaanazoo.org.
The exciting “Boofari” Express Train, Conservation Carrousel and Fifty Monkey Ferris Wheel rides will be entertaining little ghouls and goblins all night long for an extra charge. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase at Bean Sprouts Café.
