The City of Santa Ana is hosting the 12th annual Independence Day celebration on Thursday, July 4, 2024.

SANTA ANA, Calif. – The City of Santa Ana is getting ready to celebrate the red, white and blue! This year’s annual Fourth of July Celebration will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Centennial Park, 3000 W. Edinger Ave., in Santa Ana.

With eager patrons excited to kick off the Independence Day festivities, this year’s event has extended its hours and will take place from 3 to 9 p.m. It will conclude with an amazing 20-minute fireworks show and a brief glow-stick dance party that will mark the end of the celebration.

“I invite all of our residents to join us for this family-friendly, patriotic event,” Mayor Valerie Amezcua said. “Instead of celebrating with fireworks at home, help us keep Santa Ana safe by coming to Centennial Park for a professional fireworks show, great music and lots of fun activities this Fourth of July.”

The free community event will include the following:

  • Live entertainment from Tabu and headliner, Gold Rush Country
  • Kids Zone
  • Food trucks
  • Community resources
  • Community trivia
  • Patriotic Pup Contest at 7 p.m.
  • 20-minute firework show at 8:45 p.m.

In addition to these exciting elements, guests can look forward to special participation from Title Level Partners:

  • The Los Angeles Clippers will be on site with fun basketball activities, contests and prizes (while supplies last) for all Santa Ana fans!
  • The Asian American Senior Citizens Service Center will feature fun activities and prizes (while supplies last) throughout the entire event.

Free on-site event parking is available. To ensure community safety, all park entrances will be closed starting at 8:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics. Personal fireworks are prohibited.
