SANTA ANA, Calif. – The City of Santa Ana is proud to announce an expanded relationship with the LA Clippers through a “City of Santa Ana Clippers Night” special event during the Clippers’ upcoming game on April 12, 2024, against the Utah Jazz.

The “City of Santa Ana Clippers Night” game will also welcome the winners from the Jr. Clippers Skills Co-Ed Challenge taking place at the Santa Ana EGG-Cellent Adventure on March 30, 2024. This competition is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 14 years old and will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the Centennial Park Basketball Courts, 3000 W. Edinger Ave. Participants will compete in five standardized skills: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense and bonus free throw, and lay-up. Winners of the competition will be recognized on the EGG-Cellent Adventure event stage and receive a pair of tickets to the Clippers vs. Jazz NBA game on April 12.
The LA Clippers have been a long-time supporter of the Santa Ana Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency’s youth basketball programming, and now 2024 will bring further collaboration through specialty events and activations, especially around the team’s Somos Clipper Nation platform. Along with the Santa Ana EGG-Cellent Adventure, residents can also look forward to engaging with the LA Clippers at the City of Santa Ana’s Fourth of July and Fiestas Patrias celebrations.
