Most Beautiful Yard Program
The Most Beautiful Yard Awards are a recognition of the hard work and pride exhibited by Santa Ana residents. We are proud to have residents who strive to beautify their homes and neighborhoods in the City of Santa Ana. This year marks the 36th annual “Most Beautiful Yard” contest. The contest was created to recognize Santa Ana residents who have maintained or improved the exterior appearance of their homes. The entries were evaluated on: Maintenance, Landscaping, and Overall General Appearance.
This year marks the 36th Annual Most Beautiful Yard Celebration where twenty winners from homes in twenty neighborhoods were recognized at the Com-Link Awards Recognition Night on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Each winner received their Most Beautiful Yard sign to display in their front yard along with a set and Certificates of Recognition by the City and other elected offices. The selection committee included four members of the Com-Link Board. City staff from the Planning Division worked with the committee to review landscaping guidelines, etc.
Neighborhood Hero Awards
The “Neighborhood Hero Award,” proudly established by the Santa Ana Communication Linkage Forum Board, honors those individuals who have shown commitment and enthusiasm in strengthening the quality of life in their neighborhoods. This year, twenty-five Neighborhood Hero Winners and one William Edward Branch III Humanitarian Spirit honorees because each has demonstrated their leadership, commitment, generosity, and the selflessness needed to enhance their neighborhood and the greater Santa Ana community.
Com-Link celebrated the 2024 Neighborhood Hero Awards on June 27, 2024 where twenty-five community members (all volunteers) were recognized for their tireless dedication and phenomenal impact they have made toward improving the quality of their neighborhoods.
