Cesar Chavez Day closure March 31
Santa Ana City Hall, libraries and community centers will be closed on Monday, March 31, 2025, in observance of Cesar Chavez Day.
There will be no street sweeping on March 31, but trash and recycling will be collected.

Cesar Chavez Day Closure

The Santa Ana Public Library will be closed on Monday, March 31, 2025 in observance of Cesar Chavez Day. Library service will resume on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

La Biblioteca Pública de Santa Ana estará cerrada el lunes, 31 de marzo de 2025 en conmemoración del Día de Cesar Chavez. El servicio de la Biblioteca se reanudará el martes, 1 de abril de 2025.

Thư Viện Santa Ana sẽ đóng cửa vào Thứ Hai, ngày 31 tháng 3 năm 2025 để kỷ niệm ngày Cesar Chavez. Tất cả các dịch vụ của Thư Viện sẽ bắt đầu lại bình thường vào Thứ Ba, ngày 3 tháng 1 năm 2025.

Celebrate Día and the importance of children, literacy, and families. The event will take place in the Plaza of the Sun behind the Main Library. It is free for everyone to attend.

New library hours & locations

Beginning June 24, 2024, the Newhope Branch Library will add eight additional hours per week. Library Services and programs will also be available at various community centers throughout Santa Ana including Jerome, Roosevelt, Garfield, and El Salvador Community Center.
