On Thursday, September 19, eight Orange County Fire Authority handcrew members were returning from battling the Airport Fire when they were involved in a rollover crash on a freeway in Irvine. Eight members were injured, including six who were critically injured and transported to area hospitals.
The Orange County Professional Firefighters Association Local 3631 together with the Orange County Fire Authority are working to ensure that these members and their families have the care and resources they need in the long road to recovery.
