Arbor Day community tree planting events

In celebration of Arbor Day and Earth Day, the City of Santa Ana is hosting community tree planting events at seven parks on Saturday, April 19, from 10 to 11 a.m. Neighbors and community members are invited to join us to help plant a tree and add to our urban forest of over 60,000 trees.

• Centennial Park, 3000 W. Edinger Ave.
• Ed Caruthers Park, 423 S. Raitt St.
• Cabrillo Park, 1820 E. Fruit St.
• Carl Thornton Park, 1801 W. Segerstrom Ave.
• El Salvador Park, 1825 W. Civic Center Drive
• Delhi Park, 2314 S. Halladay St.

Please wear closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes that can get dirty, and a hat or sun protection. Water will be provided at each site.
