Santa Ana City Hall will be closed for the holidays from Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, through Monday, Jan. 1, 2024. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024. City services and facilities will be affected as follows:

Street sweeping / trash and recycling collection

  • Friday, Dec. 22 (Christmas Eve observed) – No street sweeping
  • Monday, Dec. 25 (Christmas) – No street sweeping; trash and recycling collection delayed by one day
  • Monday, Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day) – No street sweeping, trash and recycling collection delayed by one day

Other City facilities

  • Community centers: Closed Dec. 22 to Jan. 1, except Jerome Center, which will be hosting a Winter Break Camp Dec. 26-29.
  • Santa Ana Senior Center: Open Dec. 18-21 and Dec. 26-29 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; closed Dec. 22-25 and Dec. 30 to Jan. 1
  • Southwest Senior Center: Open Dec. 18-21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; closed Dec. 22 to Jan. 1
  • Libraries: Closed Dec. 22 to Jan. 1
  • Parks: Open daily from dawn to dusk
  • Santa Ana Zoo:
    • Dec. 24: regular hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m., last admission at 4 p.m.)
    • Dec. 25: closed
    • Dec. 26-31: regular hours
    • Jan. 1: closed
  • Santa Ana Work Center: Closed Dec. 22 to Jan. 1
  • Santa Ana Police Department lobby (regular hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.):
    • Dec. 22-25: Lobby completely closed
    • Dec. 26-29: Open on the Traffic side / Closed on Records side
    • Jan. 1: Lobby open

Police, fire and other emergency services will operate normally. Report downed trees and branches, street and traffic light problems, and other issues here or on the mySantaAna app.
