Library of Things Open House: Healthy Start to a New School Year

Our department is working with the American Heart Association and OC Health Care Agency to launch the new blood pressure kits. We would like to turn our August Library of Things Open House into a bigger program with the theme of “Healthy Start to a New School Year.” We’ll be showcasing health focused LOTs items and inviting different departments of the OC Health Care Agency and AHA to have booths as well. They’ll be focusing on things like dental health, tobacco use prevention awareness, W.I.C./food insecurity information, etc. They’ll also provide some fun giveaways at their booths.
