Strong Santa Ana winds are forecasted in Orange County on Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon, Nov. 6 and 7, 2024. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch Alert that is in effect from Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon for inland Orange County that will bring 25 to 35 mph winds from the Northeast, with occasional strong wind gusts of over 60 mph. Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
