Emergency Solutions Grant
About
Each year, the City of Santa Ana receives funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for homeless assistance under the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG). The ESG program assists in the prevention of homelessness and to enable homeless individuals and families to move toward independent living. The City's FY 2024-25 Annual Action Plan is now available.
Metropolitan cities, urban counties and territories may provide ESG funds to projects operated by units of general purpose local government or private nonprofit organizations.
The City of Santa Ana has opened a Request for Proposal (RFP) in collaboration with the Orange County ESG Collaborative effective November 20, 2024.
