Acting Deputy Chief Manny Moreno is a 28-year law enforcement veteran, having served the last 21- years with the Santa Ana Police Department. He previously held various leadership positions in the Patrol Division, Investigative Support Services, Criminal Investigations Bureau, and currently serves as the Westend District Commander in the Operations Division overseeing the Homeland Security Division and Special Events. Additionally, Acting Deputy Chief Moreno holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration.

Commander Gil Hernandez is a 24-year law enforcement veteran, having served the last 21 years with the Santa Ana Police Department. He previously held various leadership positions in Field Operations, Investigations Division, Adjutant to the Chief of Police, and currently serves as the Commander for the Crimes Against Persons Division.
