Trash and recycling collection delayed

Due to labor issues at Republic Services, trash and recycling collection in Santa Ana has been delayed this week. Street sweeping will take place as scheduled. Residents in impacted areas should leave trash carts on the curb (not the street) until they have been serviced.  Read more

Jail Bureau

The Jail Bureau, led by Administrator Jaime Manriquez, consists of two divisions: Jail Administration and Support Services, and Jail Operations. Administrative personnel oversee the facility’s daily operations, while the Jail Operations Division manages individuals taken into Santa Ana Police custody, ensuring their processing, release, or transfer to the county jail. Additionally, the Jail Records staff is responsible for maintaining and processing all inmate records.

The mission of the Santa Ana Jail Bureau is to support the Santa Ana Police Department’s law enforcement efforts by addressing the department’s incarceration needs, providing direct and indirect assistance to law enforcement operations, and ensuring the safe, secure, and humane housing of individuals in custody.
