Join our Junior Lifeguard camp where participants can dip their feet into the world of lifeguarding while having summer fun!
Junior Guard participants will be introduced to the basics of CPR and water rescues whiling working in teams and building important lifesaving skills. This camp prioritizes teaching and training participant’s basic water safety skills. Upon completion students may become Splash Guards & volunteer at our various aquatic facilities. Participants will receive a free SAUSD lunch.
Thanks to Kaiser Permanente Operation Splash and the American Red Cross Centennial Campaign, scholarships are available at low to no cost. You can apply for a scholarship in person at Salgado Community Center. Learn more on aquatics scholarships here.
