Free lifeguard training provided by the American Red Cross.

FREE American Red Cross Lifeguarding course providing entry-level knowledge and skills on how to prevent, recognize and respond to water related and land emergencies. Lifeguard participants will be trained to respond and provide care in medical emergencies within the American Red Cross Lifeguard guidelines. Please note: All participants will need to pass in-water prerequisites on first day of class in order to remain in the course. 

Participants are required to:

  • Attend all course dates consecutively
  • Successfully pass a written exam
  • Successfully pass an in-water skills exam with an 80% or higher in order to successfully obtain a certification in lifeguarding
