Darren Hostetter and SAC Mural Team’s utility box celebrates the 100th birthday of the Santa Ana College campus. Hostetter and the team hope that the mural will bring awareness to this important milestone for an integral community institution, the “second oldest community college in Orange County and the fourth oldest community college campus in the state of California.” Their design draws from the college’s rich archive of historical photographs to depict images of students enjoying the annual SAC Fiesta Days Celebration in the 1930s and 40s.
