Mayor Amezcua urges residents to take water pledge for Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation

Mayor Valerie Amezcua has joined mayors across the country in asking residents to make a pledge by April 30, 2025, to conserve water.

The Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation is a friendly competition between cities to see who can be the most “water-wise” by pledging ways they plan on saving water, energy and more. Cities with the highest percentage of residents who take the challenge will win. Participants in the winning cities are eligible to win hundreds of prizes, including up to $3,000 toward their annual utility bills.
