Cesar Chavez Day closure March 31
Santa Ana City Hall, libraries and community centers will be closed on Monday, March 31, 2025, in observance of Cesar Chavez Day.
There will be no street sweeping on March 31, but trash and recycling will be collected.

On-The-Job Training

The On-the-Job Training (OJT) program administered by the Santa Ana WORK Center provides an opportunity to invest in your company’s growth. OJT allows businesses to hire new employees and provide training in skilled positions. For each new hire enrolled in the OJT program, the employer will be reimbursed up to 50% of the hourly wage. Both the business and the candidate must meet certain criteria to qualify.

How it works?

  • You develop a training or onboarding plan for the new hire
  • New hire will be covered by your Workers’ Compensation insurance
  • Job is a regular, permanent position with a maximum of 32 hours per week
  • Trainee does not replace current employee
