Join us in celebrating the start of the holiday season and supporting local businesses, as we light a tree right in the heart of downtown Santa Ana.  This free community event is open to all and will feature:

• Live entertainment
• Photo opportunities with Santa
• A tree lighting ceremony
• Arts  and crafts
• Free tamale giveaway at 5 p.m. (while supplies last)

• 5:00 p.m. - Mariachi
• 5:20 p.m. - Santa arrives at Plaza Calle Cuatro
• 5:30 p.m. - Tree Lighting Ceremony
• 5:50 p.m. - Mariachi
• 6:20 p.m. - Ballet Folklórico Renacimiento
• 6:45 p.m. - Edward B. Cole Ballet Folklórico
• 7:10 p.m. - Mariachi
• 7:40 p.m. - Ballet Folklórico Nueva Generación

Community performer applications

If you are interested in participating in this year's Plaza Navideña event as a community performer, submit an application by clicking the link below.

Please note the following:

• Application deadline is November 13, 2024 at 5 p.m.
• A completed application must be submitted by any group or person(s) that would like to perform.
• City Staff will review and incorporate performers based on a variety of criteria. Not all groups or person(s) that submit an application will be invited to perform at the event.
• City of Santa Ana Special event staff will reach out to interested groups or person(s) to notify them of next steps.
• A community performance is a free performance ranging in time from 20 minutes to 30 minutes. The final date, time, and duration are to be determined by City staff.

Parking

• Parking will be available in downtown Santa Ana at 300 E 5th St.
• Regular parking rates will be in effect, first two hours are free.
