The Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center (SARTC), also known as The Depot, is the focal point of transportation in Orange County. It combines Amtrak, Metrolink, Orange County Transit Authority, intercity and interstate bus transportation, and airport and taxi services all in one location.
The SARTC is close to five freeways and only minutes from the Orange County (John Wayne) airport, Disneyland, Main Place Mall, Bowers Museum, the Civic Center complex and the Downtown Historical District. The transportation center is located at 1000 East Santa Ana Boulevard, Santa Ana, CA 92701-2690
The SARTC's ceramic tile roofs, paved walkways, and Spanish-style lighting continue to set the historical mood. Monumental stairways cascade from the upper floors that include patios and observation platforms. Extensive exterior landscaping throughout the facility also adds to the distinctive old-world flavor that is part of the one hundred plus years' heritage of Santa Ana.
The SARTC has beautiful conference rooms, a handsomely landscaped courtyard, and a decorative lobby area available for rent. An application must be filed for all staged photo sessions and filming projects at least five business days in advance.
