Main Library
For the first time in over 35 years, the Main Library is getting a big upgrade! This historic building is being transformed to better serve the community and is expected to reopen in Summer 2026.
Newhope Library
The Newhope Library officially closed its doors on July 2, 2025, to begin an exciting renovation project. The upgrades will include a new glass storefront-style entrance and a colorful, inviting building façade. Inside, the renovated library will feature an Innovation Center designed to provide hands-on STEM learning opportunities for all ages. The outdoor patio will also receive a complete makeover, with new seating and a shaded structure to create a welcoming space for reading and community gatherings. We look forward to welcoming you back to a reimagined Newhope Library in Spring/early Summer 2026!
Delhi Library
Located inside the Delhi Center, the Delhi library is now open! Check out our new branch as it includes:
- Innovative glass storefront-style entrance, modern furniture, interior finishes and fixtures
- Special "Knowledge Bar" area to assist patrons with technology and information needs
- New outdoor patio with play features and extra space for library programs, events, and activities

Outdoor Library at Jerome Park
Completed in August 2025, the new Outdoor Library at Jerome Park redefines what a library can be, bringing books, technology, and community together under the open sky. This innovative library space includes all the essentials of a traditional branch and more. The space is designed to make learning, connection, and creativity accessible to everyone. Visitors can explore a fully enclosed self-service “Mini Library” kiosk, stocked with nearly 400 items that you can return to the kiosk or any SAPL location. The library is open and ready for you to find your next great read!
