Cesar Chavez Day closure March 31
Santa Ana City Hall, libraries and community centers will be closed on Monday, March 31, 2025, in observance of Cesar Chavez Day.
There will be no street sweeping on March 31, but trash and recycling will be collected.

Street closures and permitted events for March 27 to April 2

Below are the locations of upcoming permitted events and road closures so you can plan accordingly. Please drive slowly and safely in construction zones and around crowded events. If a weather event occurs on the anticipated start date, the street closures for construction activity will be delayed until the weather clears.

March 27 to April 1

  • Standard Avenue from 1st Street to McFadden Avenue: Lane reductions for grinding and paving for the Standard Avenue Protected Bike Lanes Project.
    • 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily

March 29

  • Plaza Calle Cuatro: Small Shop Saturday event.
    • Reservation hours: 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.; event hours: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

March 30

  • Alleyway between 3rd and 4th streets: Reserved for private event.
    • 6:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

March 31

  • 4th Street from French to Mortimer streets and Mortimer Street from 4th to 5th streets: Full road closures for paving for the OC Streetcar Project (OCTA.)
    • 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

March 31 to April 18

  • Bristol Street and Memory Lane intersection: Lane reductions at the Bristol Street and Memory Lane intersection and nearby on both streets for water pipeline work for the Well 32 Rehabilitation Project.
    • 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily

March 31 to April 25

  • Civic Center Drive from Shelton to Flower streets: Lane reductions for asphalt paving for the Civic Center Drive Rehabilitation Project. Access will be maintained for businesses and residents.
    • 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily

March 31 to May

  • Standard Avenue from McFadden to Warner avenues: Lane closures alternating eastbound and westbound and no parking allowed for bike lane construction for the Standard Avenue Protected Bike Lanes Project.
    • 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily

April 1-10

  • SR-55 Dyer Road off-ramp: Northbound SR-55 Dyer Road off-ramp will be closed for concrete removal and pouring for the SR-55 Improvement Project (OCTA and CalTrans).
    • 24 hours a day (9 p.m. April 1 to 5 a.m. April 10)
