Traffic Engineer speaks at ITE Western Meeting

On June 24, 2024, at the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) 2024 Western District Annual Meeting, City of Santa Ana Public Works Senior Traffic Engineer, Cesar Rodriguez gave an captivating presentation on the “Comprehensive Street Lighting Master Planning: Transforming Urban Transportation and Enhancing Safety – A Case Study in Santa Ana”.  The presentation provided insights into how comprehensive street lighting master planning can enhance safety, mobility, and transportation environments, illustrating the importance of holistic planning.  The Santa Ana case study underscores the importance of crafting tailored lighting design guidelines for specific transportation corridors, emphasizing the unique considerations required to enhance safety and usability.
