The California College Fee Waiver (CFW) program benefits the spouse and children of U.S. veterans.


California State Approving Agency for Veterans Education

CSAAVE connects with school certifying officials, military education officials, training establishment and business officials, and selected Government officials in order to serve veterans and their families.


GI Bill Comparison Tool

Provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) this is an improved version of the GI Bill® Comparison Tool, which was first launched in February 2014. The GI Bill Comparison Tool is designed to make it easier for Veterans, service members, and dependents to estimate their GI Bill education benefits and learn more about VA’s approved college, university, and other education and training programs across the country. It also provides key information about college affordability and value so beneficiaries can choose the best education program to meet their needs.

Yellow Ribbon Program Participating Institutions

Degree-granting institutions of higher learning participating in the Post-9/11 GI Bill Yellow Ribbon Program agree to make additional funds available for your education program without an additional charge to your GI Bill entitlement. These institutions voluntarily enter into a Yellow Ribbon Agreement with VA and choose the amount of tuition and fees that will be contributed. VA matches that amount and issues payments directly to the institution.
