Requirements

• The City of Santa Ana accepts volunteers ages 12 years and older
• Must submit a government issued ID or school ID
• Fill out supplemental questionnaire (if working with children)
•  Submit TB test results (if volunteering at Santa Ana Zoo)

Process

• Decide which position you are most interested in
• Submit a volunteer application found on the department volunteer page
• Volunteers ages 16 and above will be provided with information on how to complete the online background check after an initial review of their application
