The second annual Santa Ana Winter Village will once again bring holiday joy and festive fun to the Orange County Civic Center’s Plaza of the Flags from Dec. 8 through Jan. 8.
This City of Santa Ana event will allow participants of all ages to enjoy an outdoor ice-skating rink, live entertainment, holiday shopping, vendors, local food trucks, and much more. A special focus of the Winter Village will be family-friendly activities, including a festive trackless train, story time in Santa’s Village, and visits from Santa Claus on select days.
The Winter Village will feature a 30-foot fully decorated tree in the Plaza of the Sun next to the Plaza of the Flags, between Santa Ana City Hall and the Main Library. The City will host a special grand opening event on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with an official Tree Lighting Ceremony beginning at 5 p.m.
As the signature attraction of the Santa Ana Winter Village, an outdoor ice rink will be available for guests to reserve skating sessions throughout the month. General skating admission with discounted Santa Ana resident rates will be available for purchase online beginning Nov. 19. General admission to the Santa Ana Winter Village is free of charge, with separate costs for specific activities, such as ice-skating, food trucks and merchandise.
This community event is presented by the City of Santa Ana with the support of sponsors Anaheim Ducks and Northgate Market. More details will be announced about special activities throughout the four-week event, including Non-Profit Fridays, Breakfast with Santa, and VIP appearances from the Anaheim Ducks Street Team.
