Work Experience (WEX)

Work Experience (WEX)  programs provide a no-cost resource for businesses to attract new talent and expand existing employee skill sets.

Participating businesses provide up to 40 hours of hands-on training per week for up to 12 weeks in their work environment. Trainees’ wages are subsidized throughout the training program. Trainees build the specific skills employers need and emerge from the training ready to be hired.
