Checkout the newest member to join the herd over at Santa Ana Zoo, ZOOmie!

This brand-new recreation vehicle allows the Santa Ana Zoo to expand its outreach opportunities, by traveling to local parks and neighborhoods. ZOOmie is a mobile destination point that encourages curiosity, questions about nature, and opens the door for conversation with Zoo staff to share stories and make new memories. We invite all community members to come outside with us and explore the open space and playgrounds available all throughout the City of Santa Ana. .

Santa Ana residents can look forward to seeing ZOOmie zoom all over Santa Ana parks and city-wide events as it brings:

  • Animal meet and greets
  • Seasonally themed crafts
  • Wildlife and environmental talks
  • And more!

Look for a white van with the City of Santa Ana Zoo logo, that features multiple colors and animal silhouettes.
